Children often communicate their emotions through their behavior rather than words. Therapy can provide a safe, supportive space for children to express themselves, build coping skills, and process difficult experiences. It may be beneficial if your child is experiencing anxiety, grief, behavioral changes, emotional outbursts, challenges at school, social difficulties, chronic illness, or significant life transitions.
For teenagers, emotional struggles often look different than they do in younger children. Grief, anxiety, and stress may present as decreased motivation, perfectionism, withdrawal, isolation, irritability, or increased worry. Therapy offers teens a supportive environment where they can develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life's challenges while honoring their growing need for independence.
The transition into young adulthood can be both exciting and overwhelming. Navigating college, careers, relationships, identity, and increased responsibilities can bring uncertainty and stress. Therapy provides a space to process these changes, build resilience, and gain the confidence and tools needed to move forward with greater clarity and self-assurance.

I work with children (ages 10+), adolescents, young adults, and their families. Services are tailored to each individual's developmental stage and unique needs.

Yes. Research shows that telehealth can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many children, adolescents, and young adults. For children ages 10 and older, virtual therapy can provide a convenient and meaningful way to build coping skills, process emotions, and strengthen relationships.
My priority is creating a safe, connected therapeutic relationship. Together, we'll determine which format best meets your child's developmental needs, personality, and treatment goals.
